Utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Being one of the top 5 Heart Hospitals in the United States, we perform over 2500 open heart surgeries annually. Combined with our many other specialties, we can offer challenge and growth in the Critical Care areas of nursing. We have open positions for experienced RN’s in our Clinical Decision Unit. This is a fast-paced monitored cardiac unit. Our staff is trained in cardiac assessment and monitoring for the lower-risk cardiac events. The patient population on CDU includes patients with chest pain, syncope, unstable angina, CHF, Pneumonia, Renal Failure, Diabetes. We focus on Observation and Inpatient PCU Holds. Unit census 26; 18 semi private, 2 private, 4 bed wards x2
Full time, Days RN. 7a-7p various days for Clinical Decision unit. Minimum 1 year recent progressive/critical care experience required. Must have current Register Nurse Florida licensure. Position: Registered Nurse
Unit: PCU Unit
Shift: 7a-7p. Minimum of 2 years current critical care progressive care unit experience, ACLS, BLS, critical care training or equivalent experience, phlebotomy, IV starts
Hours: Full-Time, 72 hours per pay period.
Knowledge & Skill Required: 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse required. Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Florida acute ICU experience.
Education, Licensure & Certifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Must hold an active and clear Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida, or actively pursuing reciprocity from another state. Basic Life Support certification required; advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
