Job Description:
The RN is a registered professional nurse who is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups. Utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
REQUIRED: FL RN License, current BLS, ACLS and have one year of hospital experience.

RN - Surgery - Full-Time Evening
The RN is a registered professional nurse who is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care to age specific groups identified in the unit standards of care (may include neonate to geriatric). Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the department. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements.
· BCLS certification
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
· Articulates comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and specialty nursing theory and practice for all age groups.
· Computer knowledge and skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Graduate of nursing school
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Demonstrated Experience in the clinical setting related to area of specialty
· Minimum 1 year experience in Operating Room preferred
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
