RN with at least one year of OR experience, preferably in a hospital setting. Full Time. This specifically trained nurse assists the surgeon in performing OR procedures. Responsibilities are to focus the planning, administration and/or supervision of activities related to the care of the operative patient. Maintains a safe and aseptic environment during surgery. Assists with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the standards of nursing care provided to the following age specific patient populations: geriatric, adult, adolescent and pediatric. Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing. Technical training is required. Current Florida RN license is required. One to two years clinical and operating room experience is required. BLS certification required.
