Florida Hospital East Orlando was founded in 1990, after an acquisition by the Adventist Health System. Florida Hospital East has spacious patient care areas and warm, private rooms with more than 200 beds.
The RN is a registered professional nurse who is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups. Utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Position for Experienced RN only, min 1 year ED experience
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- ACLS
- PALS or ENPC
- PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
· CEN, ENPC, TNCC
· CEN
· ED internship program
· Computer skills
· Bilingual
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Graduate of a Registered Nurse program
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BSN
- MSN
- One year RN experience in ED
- ENA membership
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
· Current registration with Florida State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse
