Responsible for the delivery of safe, therapeutic and cost effective nursing care. Uses the nursing skills of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for the following patient care populations: geriatrics, adult, adolescent and pediatric. Primary function is the delivery of competent, compassionate and cost effective nursing care. Participates as a collaborative member of the Florida Hospital Fish Memorial healthcare team.
Current registration with Florida State Board of Examiners or licensed in another state awaiting results of Florida registration. Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A current Advanced Life Support card is preferred. Demonstrates good use of the English language in the verbal and written form. Previous experience in Endoscopy or a minimum of one current year of experience in Endoscopy with a background of at least one year medical/surgical floor and critical care is required. Call requirements include one weekday a week 4:30 pm to 7am with 24 hour weekend call Sat and Sun 7am - 7am.
