POSITION SPECIFICS:
- Registered Nurse
- Full Time
- 8 hour shifts
- Evenings 1400-2230 flexible on hours
- Possible call MRI and or angio
REQUIRED:
- Graduated from School of Nursing
- BLS
- Critical Care Training
- 1 year minimum, critical care level experience.
- Must be able to wear lead apron/pull sheaths
PREFERRED:
- ACLS and PALS
- EKG Background
- Bachelors Degree
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must project and promote courteous and cooperative public relations for our department and Florida Hospital.
- Must have ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision
- Must have the ability to communicate and cooperate well with technical staff, nursing staff, and physicians
- Good organizational skills; creative, self motivated; problem-solving ability.
- Manually apply moderate digital pressure for 10-60 minutes; pull sheaths;
- Ability to function appropriately under stress.
- Ability to perform all essential nursing functions.
- Is able to set priorities for the numerous nursing care activities in caring for the critically ill.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
- Current registration with Florida State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
· The RN is a registered professional nurse who is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups. Utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
