RN - Cardiac Intensive Care Unit - Nights
Job ID: 20561
The Cardiac ICU (CICU) is a 40-bed unit located on the 5th floor of the Ginsburg Tower. It is separated into two 20-bed sections, each with a dedicated charge nurse. The specially trained nurses in the CICU care for the complex cardiac medical patient. Our nurses are proud of the fact that we hold our unit and staff to high standards. We enjoy giving excellent care to our patients. Based on APACHE ratings, our CICU has one of the lowest mortality rates for AMI patients in the nation and one of the lowest LOS for these patients. We accomplish these great outcomes through our outstanding teamwork, involving our Nursing Practice Council, Physician Medical Directors and the interdisciplinary team.
