Job Description: The Respiratory Care Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of an assigned group of patients. Specific age groups are identified in the principal duties and job responsibilities section. In addition, he/she must be able to accept leadership responsibility in the Intensive Care Nursery or Pediatric areas in the absence of the Lead Therapist, as directed by the respiratory care shift Supervisor. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Adheres to Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Competency Evaluations are based on observation during the previous year unless otherwise noted.

Requirements: Must be licensed in Florida as Respiratory Therapist or licensure eligible.
Also must be Registered Respiratory Therapist or registry eligible. CPR
