The concierge, under the direct supervision of the designated department manager, works as a liaison for surgery department in receiving patient s and visitors. Responsible for providing customer service at its best for all patients and families. Provides a positive and professional first impression to the patients and general public. Facilitates efficient, effective flow of information to the patients, visitors, physicians and staff. Communicates and provides accurate information when appropriate to age appropriate patients. Maintains an aura of congeniality and hospitality. Will also perform other various secretarial duties as designated by the department secretary. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
