The Staff Educator under administrative guidance has the overall responsibility for the quality andcontinuity of patient care for specific age groups (may include neonate to geriatric) identified in the positionresponsibilities. Selects, directs and evaluates all personnel assigned according to Hospital, nursing, andunit philosophy and objectives. Serves as a resource person, through acquired knowledge of current trends and practices, guiding staff in their development of skills and capabilities.

Responsible for unit based hospital performance improvement outcomes. Adheres and assures that staff adhere to the FloridaHospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state andfederal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and acceptsresponsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
