Florida Hospital Altamonte is building a brand new tower which includes a 36-bed Medical/Surgical Oncology unit. Through our whole-person care nursing philosophy, we care for the patient and their families during all stages of Oncology and Hematology disorders. For our staff, we offer a dedicated relaxation lounge, a free charge nurse, a 4:1 patient to nurse ratio, a Collaborative Practice Team, and two educational specialists individually dedicated to Oncology and Medical/Progressive Care training. For our patients, we are able to provide inpatient and outpatient chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
