Job/Unit Description:
Pediatric department. Minimum of 1-3 years pediatric RN experience preferred. Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Florida.

The Pediatric Nurse is a registered professional nurse who develops expertise in assessing, planning, implementing and re-evaluating the need of the pediatric patient and their families. Utilizing the nursing process, collaborates with physician in providing the delivery of safe, quality health care while recognizing physical, psychosocial and emotional needs of the patient/family. Encourages family participation in the decision-making processes surrounding the direction followed in the delivery of the service to the patient/client. Maintains skill level by utilizing current pediatric trends and practices, while endorsing the Florida Hospital philosophy of family centered care.
