Specialties at Florida Hospital include cardiovascular, orthopaedic, neurosurgery, microsurgery, kidney transplantation, outpatient, pain medicine and more.
Our five-month program is designed to give nurses didactic and clinical training in the perioperative setting. While rotating through the variety of surgical services we provide, your internship experience will include:
- Training for the three phases of the perioperative process - pre-operative, intraoperative and transition into the post-operative phase of surgery
- Learning the roles of circulator and scrub nurse
