Responsible for the delivery of safe, therapeutic and cost effective nursing care. Uses the nursing skills of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for the following patient care populations: geriatrics, adult, adolescent and pediatric. Primary function is the delivery of competent, compassionate and cost effective nursing care. Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing. Current registration with Florida State Board of Examiners or licensed in another state awaiting results of Florida registration. Completion of a Basic and Advance EKG program required. Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A current Advanced Life Support card is preferred. Two years of previous hospital experience in the progressive care setting or equivalent is required.
