Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, current registration with the State Board of Examiners and advanced training in Cardiac Catheterization procedures. Other requirements necessary for this position are as follows: BLS, ACLS, Basic EKG however, advanced EKG classes preferred.1-2 Years experience in a Cardiac Cath setting prior to this employment or this experience at this hospital prior to this classification. A minimum of 2 years of Critical Care experience. This RN functions as part of a three member team and as such must demonstrate competence in scub, monitor, circulator and recovery roles.
