The Congestive Heart Failure/Pulmonary Hypertension Unit is a 40-bed unit located on the 7th floor of the Ginsburg Tower. We are constantly looking for ways to provide the highest level of patient satisfaction by hiring not only compassionate but also passionate employees that have a love for the medical cardiac patient. Additionally this unit has a strong commitment to research and clinical best practice with positive clinical outcomes.
Patients Cared For:
- Medical Cardiac
- CHF
- Pulmonary Hypertension
- Pre-heart or lung transplant
- Overflow: Cardiac or vascular patients requiring PCU level care
Special Therapies:
- Tikosyn therapy
- Aquapheresis
- LVAD's intended as a bridge for transplant or destiny therapy

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year recent progressive care experience required. Must have current Register Nurse Florida licensure.
The RN is a registered professional nurse who is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups. Utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
