Florida Hospital Named One of America's Best HospitalsMonday July 16, 2007
For the ninth consecutive year, Florida Hospital has been recognized in the U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Hospitals" issue that went on newsstands July 16. Florida Hospital made the list for its Endocrinology (Diabetes) services and is the only hospital in Central Florida to be named.

Florida Hospital Transplant Center Performs First Kidney/Pancreas Transplant in Greater Orlando AreaFriday July 6, 2007
The first patient to undergo a kidney/pancreas transplant in the greater Orlando area will be discharged today from the Florida Hospital Transplant Center at Florida Hospital Orlando.

Florida Hospital announced that Alan H. Ginsburg and the Ginsburg Family Foundation have given a $20 million gift to Florida Hospital, the largest gift in the hospital's history. The gift will support the Florida Hospital Cardiovascular Institute that will be located inside the new patient tower at Florida Hospital Orlando.
